How I did it: Be curious, go around exhibitions, go to art shows. Attend some art student art shows where you can find some artwork for reasonable price and you can have a chance to discuss with the artists about their artwork. Understand their emotions. See what you like and dont like. Take your time. Let your emotions play and will know when it is the right ones for you.
