I was under the impression that they only allow applicants to take the test once (each). Just curious…
How to join Mensa
How I did it: I had read about Mensa since I was a child. Back then I had the impression of Mensa being a cult organization with people in black coats and tall hats sitting around a table discussing world affairs. I had solved a lot of these puzzles when I was small. Recently when I found out that there was a local chapter of Mensa in my city, I registered for the test just to check it out. I gave the test and more than the difficulty I felt the lack of time. I was fully prepared to give the test again if I flunked. But thankfully, I got a letter in a couple of months inviting me to join the organization. And I'm proud to be part of it.
Lessons & tips: Since this test is a test of your innate IQ, there is no specific preparation. But you can try out the sample test they have on mensa.org or other similar IQ tests. They may not be identical but at least will give you an idea of what to expect.
Resources: Nothing in particular, the Internet in general
