How I did it: Getting into Oxford, as it turns out, was the easiest part. For two years I studied, discussed, argued, wrote essays, sat exams, and did fieldwork for my thesis. A monster thesis of 30,000 words which took all of my energy to write, but it's there - and I even got an NGO report (presented in Parliament!) out of it...
