I’m impressed—I don’t think I could go a week without diet cola—Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, doesn’t really matter—I just need to taste something sweet & get a caffeine boost.

How I did it: I stopped drinking pop for health reasons, they were just too high in sugar and too many empty calories for me to keep drinking it. I experienced 2 really intense cravings for Sprite (my former poison of choice) in May and September, but other then that it was not too bad.
Lessons & tips: The toughest part was the planning it required to go out. All the parties I went to I would have to bring my own bottles of water.
Eating in restaurants was a little difficult because I HATE tap water, and ordering bottled water at a pizza joint is too pretentious. I ended up ordering orange juice or chocolate milk, which made my friends laugh at me and ask if I'm 12 yrs old. hahahah
Resources: Get a good water bottle, rock it out with stickers, or whatever and carry it around with you wherever you go.
Find a new drink of choice and stick with it.
