How I did it: Submitted to a day of ikea and ended up with a buyers guilt hangover. Wish I would have put more time into thrifting, but I just wanted to get it done. Its definitely better than it was with a comforter, a bed skirt, some nice rungs, bed side shelves, and thicker curtains. More comfortable for sure. Warm and gets almost all the way dark at night. I have dreams of building a bed frame in furniture class this summer.
