"I love my scooter."
How I did it: Well it's not a vespa but it is a scooter.
Just a 50cc little thing but I love it.
I checked out all the stores here and town and went with this one because it's the cheapest and smallest one I could find.
Unfortunately, after only 2 months of having it, I broke my kneecap and have been unable to drive it...luckily it's through the winter months when I wouldn't want to be driving it anyway. Once I'm totally mobile again though I'll be back to zipping around (at 30mph).
[I wrote that it took two weeks..that's the time it took from when I set out to buy it seriously, they were continually out of stock or not open. :( I had been thinking about getting one for years and years though.]
Lessons & tips: Search around. Don't settle for something you don't love.
Also, learning to ride one isn't very difficult. It's easier to operate than a bicycle.
Resources: I used the internet, visiting shops, and talking to people in person to do research.
