How to design a tattoo

"My own unique piece on my own unique self. ;0)"
How I did it: After my Dad passed away I wanted something to honour his memory. He had a swallow tattoo from his army days and I love wolves. I drew a wolf watching a swallow flying free past a full moon and up into the sky. I kept it in just black and I'm very pleased with the end results.
Lessons & tips: Keep things simple, more complex pieces will definitely need either tattoo knowledge of your own or the help of the artist who will ink you.
