How to win nanowrimo 2006
"A mad dash to the finish line!"
How I did it: Had three good characters well realized before beginning of month. Plot not well thought out; however, so what. Got it done by persevering every day for 30 days! It took about 1.5 hours a day of writing. Teaches you two skills crucial to being a successful writer:
1. you learn to write whether you feel like it or not
2. you learn to generate new content without any editing or revising (i.e., you learn to keep the two functions separate: writing new material is separate from editing/revising)
Lessons & tips: Just keep going! Even if what you're writing makes no sense! And you hate what you're writing! Write anyway!
