How I did it: I randomly came across an ad for a flying school in my city... and it hit me. I want to fly a plane! It only took me a month, maybe less, to work up the courage. I called, booked my familiarization flight... and within a week I was flying a plane. I wasn't alone, but I flew it. I drove/directed it down the runway and flew it in the air ^.^!
I fell in love instantly.
Now I'm going to take another flying lesson and decide whether or not I want to take a flying course to fly a plane as a profession.

Lessons & tips: Umm... Well a lesson I learned was that even if you're scared of heights, you might enjoy flying. Personally, I'm TERRIFIED of heights... but I love flying.
