How to public speaking
It made me
feel important. 
"I joined Toastmasters, which was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life."
How I did it: I joined my local Toastmasters club, and I made an effort to visit every week. I also made it a goal of mine to give at least one speech a month.
Because I stuck to that goal, I was able to complete the first ten basic requirement speeches and I earned my "Competent Communicator" certificate. Now I'm working on my "Advanced Toastmaster - Bronze" certificate.
