How I did it: Persisted year after year! I initially didn't get the grades to get into law, so I did one year of arts, achieved a distinction average, got into the best law school and slowly plugged away at my degree. 

Lessons & tips: Be persistent and believe in yourself. Surround yourself with positive people and don't take things too seriously. There is a lot of pomp and tradition surrounding law and there are scary rumours about the job market and how important grades are. I say just do your best and forget about everything else. Things will fall into place if you persist!
