"there is no obvious self gratification doing this so it may not be for everyone, but if you can imagine a smile on a strangers face then it may be for you"
How I did it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQCiuD7LDyI
a few years ago i looked up a video similar to the one above to learn how to make them, then i began writing quotes on what will be the outer side of the crane so people can see that there is something written and i leave it to them as to whether or not they destroy the crane to find out, which in itself may be a little poetic or reflective of life in that sometimes when the truth is revealed something beautiful may be dispelled, a lame example would be santa.
For me this was a great way to do something nice for someone i will never know
Lessons & tips: use thick nikko pen for short quotes and a finer one for longer ones, don't forget to use your imagination too, it doesn't have to be a quote it can be a letter , poem or even a short story, and i even mixed materials im a photographer so i even just turned some of my landscapes into something to be discovered , also be creative with where you leave them, parks, malls, atm machines, cinema's, restaurants, anywhere people frequently visit
Resources: the best thing about this is all you need can be found at home all you need to find is some free time to burn and a will to brighten a strangers day without getting any thanks for it.
