"It was a whole summer of work, but it was worth it."
How I did it: I spent the whole summer cleaning, tossing, fixing, and storing. I cleaned every cabinet and closet and gave it away or packed it and stored it. I then called a real estate agent. He gave me a simple list of things to do: Bright light bulbs in every room, paint one bedroom I had not painted yet, replace the screens and work on the yard. It was difficult to keep the house clean everyday because you never know if someone was coming or not, (but a good habit we brought to our new house). I prayed to St. Jude and in three weeks I had three offers to pick from.
