How I did it: My husband and I decided to save up for our honeymoon.  I had always wanted to visit Eastern Europe -  I have relatives in Prague... so we went to CAA and booked ourselves a Christmas vacation for 7 days: Vienna, Prague and Budapest.  It was a bus tour that went to those three main cities, plus we visited Cesky Krumlov, Czech Rep and Bratislava, Slovakia.  Everything was beautiful and easy - no worries about luggage, or hotels.  Breakfast and many dinners were provided.  Overall, an excellent experience!

Lessons & tips:

1. Check to see what currency is being used in particular countries.  Not every country in Europe takes the Euro.
2. Keep photocopies of your visa card and your passport in your luggage just in case your purse is stolen.
3. Use the safe in the hotel rooms!
4. Don't forget to go out at night - it's just as hopping as the daytime!
5. Pack extra snacks - it was hard for me to find a place to buy anything at night (midnight snacker!)
