How I did it: I think the most important part of my journey was learning to let go of the past in order to look for a new future.  I never let failure make me so cold that I wasn't welcome to new love.  Mostly though, I started focusing more on my own life and where I wanted to be.  When I started working towards that, I found someone who was doing the same and going the same direction as me.  I needed to move forward in my own life on my own path.  I finally feel like I'm exactly where I am supposed to be and I think Christian is just more proof that I am working towards the right goals.

Really though?  A lot of it was just keeping my eyes open and letting people get close... even if it meant that I might get hurt.  And I did get hurt on occasion.  But I never stopped telling myself what I deserved and wanted and refused to settle for less.  I knew I would find it, and I did.

Lessons & tips: Just keep focusing on making your life and who you are what you want to be... that special someone is out there, but standing around doing nothing while waiting for them is just foolish.  That and keep your heart open.  Good people are out there.
