How I did it:

  • Paid off my credit cards
  • Paid off my car
  • Got a WAMU credit card with free monthly credit score updates to keep track of my FICO score.

Lessons & tips: Pay more than the minimum on all your cards, even the one with the lowest interest, as paying more than the minimum gets you more points on your FICO score than just paying the minimum (maybe other people know this but I only found this out a year or two ago)

Resources: WAMU card with free monthly FICO score updates was very helpful in keeping track and didn't cost me anything. Also, Suze Orman's TV has helpful info about paying off debts.

Great Work indeed

Did you know that there have been a great deal of legislation and bills being passed by Congress and these are changing the way credit score was being treated earlier.

Student loan rehabilitation, medical bills rehabiliatation….

I found this ebook , though charging 57$ since it is one of its kind. (I researched a lot on internet for 2009 e Book and found this.)
