How to back up my blog
It made me
feel accomplished 
"If anything happens to my online journal, I can rest knowing that I have a backup on my computer."
How I did it: I have an online journal at LiveJournal, where there are many tools developed by users to back up your journals. Some will back up only entries, but others will include comments and tags and even let you export your journal to another journaling site. I chose a tool, downloaded it, and followed the instructions to download all my entries and comments to my computer.
Lessons & tips: * Not all tools will work on all operating systems, but there is at least one tool for each operating system.
* Do it! You never know if something is going to happen. Some of you have years of your life contained in an online journal.
