How to get another tattoo
How I did it: After my first tattoo, I knew I wanted more. So... I got 2 more this year, and I'm done. My first was a lotus and the symbol for harmony on my left shoulder blade. The second was a celtic heart with wings and the symbol for hope on my lower back. My third and final tattoo (which I got over Christmas break and had been planning for at least a year) was a Sprite Darter on my right inside ankle. I was going to put the symbol for dream under it, but decided not to at the last minute. Maybe I will later... who knows?
Lessons & tips: Yeah, it does hurt. But honestly, the biggest obstacle was money. #2 was $200 and #3 was $100 (both plus tip). That was after I figured out what I wanted to get and where I wanted to put it. All three are meaningful to me, not just things I decided to get impulsively.
