How I did it: I had routines set up in my home, based on the index card method outlined in "SideTracked Home Executives: From Pigpen to Paradise."  After about 6 months, I had the basics under control (mostly), and came across FlyLady online. Flylady gave me the boost to really tie all the loose ends together, both in my home and in my life, and while it is always a continual job, I feel more capable to handle it all.
