How to spend more time outdoors
"I feel so peaceful."
How I did it: I have learned to immerse myself in nature. I set up a routine. I walk my dogs -and my cat too!- every night. I think about the outdoors with an artistic perspective. I write poetry about nature. I turn down the music when I drive through scenic areas. I go to the park. I swing on playground swingsets and porch swings. I read my mail on the porch if the weather's nice. Basically I find ways to do what I do in everyday life outside, plus some exercise like walking.
