How I did it: My friend invited me to go with her and her family to Leadville, Colorado. We went snowboarding at Cooper and then went snoeshoeing later that week. It was so so so much fun! She had a younger sister that had to stop every ten minutes. It was kind of annoying and I would much rather have gone by myself or with only one other person but it was still really fun. It was okay going on the trail but it was way more exciting to trailblaze. My legs got really sore but i encourage everyone to try it out.

Lessons & tips: -I rented my shoeshoes from a winter sports store for about 10 dollars.
-I just went to a 'forest like area' that had some trails for cross country skiing or snowshoeing that was near Ski Cooper Resort.
-Take a camera. It's really pretty at some points.
-Make sure you get the poles when you rent or buy the shoes. They help a ton!
