How to learn how to snowboard

How I did it: I have been wanting to learn to snowboard for a long time but never really had the opportunity. One of my best friends had been asking me to go to this ski resort for years now and I finally made the time to go.
Snowboarding was pretty easy. If you watch what everyone else is doing you will pretty much grasp the concept. The biggest thing is that you cant be scared. If you get scared you will be scared to stop because it requires you to either fall back or fall forward.
The hardest part for me was learning to turn the board without turning my body. But once you get the hang of that everything else is pretty easy.
I wiped out a lot but I had a lot of fun.
Lessons & tips: Tips:
- Go with someone who knows what they are doing and can help you
- Don't get to caught up in directions. Listen to the basics, go for it, and then ask for tips as you go
- Your going to wipe out and its going to hurt but its not that bad. Just flip over and do it again
