How I did it: I read the book in 5 days, and when I started was only "thinking" about stopping. The more I read, though, something amazing happened to me. I lost my desire to smoke. It completely changed how I saw smoking, cigarettes, myself as a smoker, etc. Allen Carr made what I thought was impossible (quitting smoking) truly easy and I am so grateful I came across that book.
Lessons & tips:
- Read 'The Easy Way to Stop Smoking' with an open mind. You can take as long as you want to read AND you smoke until you finish the book.
- Don't use nicotine replacement therapy. It's just a scam to keep you hooked on nicotine. These products do not help withdrawal, they prolong it.
- Don't be afraid to try Allen Carr's method, even if you've tried a million times before to quit smoking. Give it a try.
