How I did it: I keep a compact camera (Caonon Powershot G9) with me almost everywhere I go. I mainly shoot micro and outdoor shoots of buildings, flowers, and just interesting objects and scenes that are interesting to me. 

Lessons & tips: There's two types of daily photographs that people seem to take: One is like a photo diary that represents what their day is like. Others try to take more serious or artful shots. Or a combination of both. There are many challenging days when you may not be able to find anything to photograph, so lower your expections. If you do this project seriously on daily basis, you willl get a few great photos that you might not get if you didn't shoot on a daily basis.
