How to write more poetry
"Just let the emotions of life flow into words. Pretty simple. Worth doing."
How I did it: Just sit and write what comes to mind. Try to make it unique. Rhyme isn't necessary. I prefer rhythm. I also like to abstract ideas. So if you think of happiness, think of an object that makes you happy and write that instead, as placeholder for the happiness.
Lessons & tips: I learned that some poetry shouldn't be shared until later. That sometimes takes self control that I don't have, but it's worth learning how to do.
