How to try vegetarianism
How I did it: One day I thought: Enough procrastination, I'm doing it! It's been about five months now and I refer to myself as a vegetarian and I intend to keep being one. I feel better about myself, and that's the main reason I keep doing it. When asked I refer to the ethics of unnecessary killing of animals and the lack of resources in the world, but I doubt I'd be doing this if my feelings weren't involved. I miss the taste of meat sometimes, but that's not enough to make me turn back.
Lessons & tips: Experiment! It's like discovering a whole new world of food, if only you experiment and dare to make mistakes. And make sure you get enough protein, Omega 3 fatty acids and what not - and don't end up eating what you usually do sans the meat.
