I like Russian very much too!! I’m learning it and I’m going to study it at university. I’m Italian, so I can’t say it’s a language similar to mine; in fact, it is rather difficult for me. Nevertheless, I like it so much that I’m ready to work hard!!

How to learn to speak Russian

How I did it: I took a Russian language class in school, where we had two teachers: one of them was a native speaker from Russia. It helped me a lot when I was listening to her speaking. I also learned a lot from Russian movies with subtitles (I learned English by watching cartoons when I was a kid, for example :) and by listening to Russian music, reading magazines, books...
Lessons & tips:
-read Russian
-watch Russian films
-speak A LOT in Russian!
-write stories in Russian
