TIFFANYlove is off today. but have not slept in 34 hours
good thinkin. may be i should try.
How I did it: I had a plan. First off I figured out exactly what I want, what eating healthy means to me. To me it was- feeling great, looking great, maintaining my weight of 115lbs, having more energy, drinking less coffee, etc. I started small. The first week I decided to figure out exactly what foods to buy, what kind of budget I will have and then I went shopping for it. I started with making my own brakfast, then making dinner 2x a week. I bought healthy snacks for work so I don't have to buy junk. I replaced soda/pop with juices and water. THen I was preparing my own lunch for work. Interstingly my co-workers cought on too, so we created a nice support group system.
Lessons & tips: -Plan in advance
-Start small so you don't overwhelm yourself
-Come up with reason why you want to do this so when doubt creeps in, your reasons for eating healthy are stronger than your doubt
Resources: -It's good to get a healthy cook book
-healthy food
Javajoeg Eating right
I have lost 20 pounds so far. And all I did was make small changes in my eating habits. I am staying away from fast food and junk food. I have cut my portion sizes down. And I am walking and alot more.It has not been to hard for me. It has been pretty easy to do.The payback is big.I feel better and look better. My clothes fit better . And this is from only 20 pounds. I have a way to go to get to my goal weight. But I will do it a step at a time and get to that goal weight. It took me years to get fat.So it will take me a while to get back into shape. I did say I stay away from junk food for the most part. My son had some potatoes chip and I had the craving for some so I had 6 chips and it was enough for me to be satisfied. Once in a while you have to treat your self. If you deprive your self it will be very hard to stick with it
