How to be in a rock band
It made me
enthusiatic 
"Show your talent, be open minded to the musicians around you, click, jam, and boom."
How I did it: Started off singing karaoke and entering local talent contests, tried out for american idol (Which I was just on TV the other day. Season 8, Kansas City, the dancing fairy. That was me) twice. Made the local paper 12 times for good things. Just promoted the hell out of myself and my talent. People started to notice and take interest, after that I met people, and the offers started happening.
