How to swim daily
How I did it:
Today marks the end of the second week in a row that I've woken up and gone swimming for at least 30 minutes. I swam 550 yards this morning and I am confident that I will continue what has become my morning routine. That routine has so far consisted of me getting ready the night before, waking at 6:00 am, driving to the pool, and spending 30 minutes there, and doing it at least every week day (I'm a little more relaxed on the weekends, but I'll still go to the gym). So far my swimming has done nothing, but improved, and I feel motivated and self-assured that this will continue as long as I really want it to.
Lessons & tips:
Be ready for to push yourself. Swimming isn't easy, but it is rewarding. Also, if you start a schedule do your best to stick to it.
Resources: A dedicated place to swim is a must (I used the local pool, but I suppose any place with water would be good enough), swim trunks, goggles, a towel, and a set time to swim.
