How I did it: i made one for my dog and it still took me like 4 months to finish. please note that she's only 8 pounds. i got really lazy because i only know how to do two stitches. it was fun to do during my downtime when i wanted to keep my hands moving without using brain power. it's not the prettiest blanket. she'll probably chew it up in a week anyway. but man is it warm!
