How I did it: For those of you that are either having trouble finding a book club to participate in, or those of you who just simply aren't much into dealing with the whole meeting up (in real life) portion of the book club scene; you may want to consider online book club social networking sites such as librarything.com ,  shelfari.com , and goodreads.com . They give you a chance to keep track of books you've read, you'd like to read, and you're currently reading. You can also join groups; many of which are structured so that it's like participating in an actual book club (all members are reading a certain book for a month or so, the book is discussed, then they move onto another book). If the traditional book club isn't for you, you should really check out the newer idea of online book clubbing :D
