How to teach english in a foreign country
How I did it: This was more than a decade ago, so forgive me if some of the info is dated: I had a friend who was teaching in Kaohsiung, Taiwan who said he could probably get me some work. I immediately decided to go, and when I got there, I found tons of work at small, privately-owned language schools. I did not have a college degree, which I believe is now preferred for most esl teachers...not sure though.
Lessons & tips: If you get a chance to teach overseas, I highly recommend it. The money is usually enough to live on, and sometimes way more. It's a great way to learn a language and immerse yourself in a culture while supporting your traveling habit, if you've got one, haha.
