How to get inspired
"uplifting with a sigh of relief"
How I did it: There is a catalog that I have to make at work and I've been creating this on and off all week mulling between other projects and fitting this in where I could. There wasn't much going on with it, however, because my creative bottle was corked tight.
I went early home one day so I could look at my little design archive library that I've seem to have started. Well, I didn't because my nephew ended up coming over so I played with him instead. Haha... but I took some books into work the next day and felt SO inspired and so UNstuck for ideas that I was going to burst. The problem with this was that it happened about 2 hours before the day was done... on a Friday... lol
Monday's the "real" day to do this thing, folks!
I also find that I create better with my hands and the traditional way rather than on the computer. The computer is nice for the finished product but nothing beats a pencil and paper for the concepts.
Lessons & tips: Find which way you create most effectively.
Computers are great but so is the traditional way of doing things.
Minds work differently so know yourself and how your brain likes to do things.
