How to travel around the world

How I did it: I bought a plane ticket to Nepal and then bought air or train tickets to my next destination as I decided where I wanted to go. Pick some places you want to visit (e.g., the Great Wall of China, Prague) to give you a sense of direction and some goals, but leave lots of free time to go to unplanned places. Other travelers will make recommendations and you want some flexibility to visit them.
