How I did it: I bought a plain, college-ruled 9.5 x 6'' spiral notebook. I typically write about my observations of myself and about what's bothering me. It really helps me clear my mind and sort things out, as well as understand myself more. And it always helps me gain perspective about my situation. Love it...such a release!
I also write about my inspirations and what I want to do. I label a section as "Action Items" and list steps to accomplish what I was inspired to do. Very motivating. = )
Lessons & tips: Go to your nearest store and buy a notebook...any notebook. It doesn't have to be an actual "journal" that you'd buy at a bookstore. Keep it nearby at ALL times. When you write in it, people tend to think that it's school or work related anyway. ; )
