How I did it: I just started sticking pretty much everything above a 5 dollar bill in a jar. After a month of collecting (Id had a birthday in that month) i had 200 dollars. I did a lot of research online to find one at a price $200 or under with good reviews that i would be able to use for fun but also photography.
Resources: I found a Canon SD1100 IS in pink on amazon.com for $160. Im very pleased with the camera and i recommend it to anyone who wants to be able to use it for fun but also is lightweight into photography.
