How to lose 25 pounds
How I did it: Losing weight is something you really have to put a lot of time and effort into if you wanna do it safely.
I think the major thing for me was that I got a gym membership and started going at least 2 or 3 times a week. I also started biking and watching what I eat. I mean, I didn't go on some crazy diet or anything. I just made a point of reading labels, watching my portion sizes, cutting down on snacks, and stuff like that.
I also started doing a daily morning exercise, which at first I hated, but now I absolutely love.
Every morning first thing right after I roll out of bed I do 50 situps and at least 75 bicycle kicks. Those two are really effective for losing weight in the stomach region.
I have lost about 30 pounds as of a week ago and I honestly think it has really made a big difference in my day-to-day life. Now I find that I'm a lot less self conscious and now I absolutely love running into people I haven't seen in a year or so 'cause I always get such great positive feedback which inspires me to keep the weight off. =D
Best of luck. <3
Lessons & tips: When it comes to eating you have to be careful. The big thing for me was cutting down on snacking. I used to snack a lot when I was with friends or if I was just bored or watching tv or something. Now instead of buying like a big box of cookies I stick to 100 calorie packs of oreos, which I have found to like even more than regular oreos. Instead of having unhealthy snacks after school and whatnot I'd reach for a preportioned baggie of raw almonds, which are not only good for you but taste great too.
I dunno, weightloss is different for everyone. The key is to diet in moderation. Don't give up too much stuff at one time or you'll find that you'll give up on the diet all together.
