How to stop drinking soda and start drinking more water
"I stopped making soda a beverage of choice--I opted for lemonade or tea instead."
How I did it: I was training for a backpacking trip, so to keep myself constantly hydrated, I drank mostly water. During my expedition, water was all I drank. Since then, I've had a few more sodas than I would have liked to, but I don't enjoy the taste. If I want some liquid sugar, I opt for lemonade instead. Now I'm conditioning myself to stop drinking sugar altogether. I just want to be a healthier person.
Lessons & tips: Don't buy soda.
