How to fIND THE PERFECT HOUSE FOR US
It made me
ridiculously happy

How I did it: we went to a 1st time homebuyers class to make sure we weren't going into such an enormous obligation/ decision blind...then we contacted a realtor that was highly recommended by friends, scoured the MLS looking for the perfect house for us... we made a list, on paper, of must haves, nice-to-haves, & definitely nots...
our house has EVERYTHING on the must have & a few things on the nice-to-have lists...not a single thing on the definitely not list lol or we wouldn't have bought it

the day after we moved in…so much has happened since then… but i adore this little house more & more each day :)

still adore my little house
since we moved in, we adopted Luna (a Snowshoe!), lost our beloved Fela (pictured) to intestinal lymphoma in July, adopted Finn McCool, redid bathroom, redid kitchen, adopted little Jonny Gato from Puerto Rico, did a patio in the backyard, & lost all my flowers to a greedy groundhog. i cant express how much i love this house! i miss my Fe & know we did right by him – exhausted savings on his chemo & when he let us know it was time to go, heartbroken, we set him free
