How to reconcile Quicken and organize paperwork as I go
"a long process when you've got a ton of paperwork to catch up on, but definitely worth making a priority to complete eventually"
How I did it:
- Download banking/credit transactions to Quicken
- Reconcile receipts to transactions
- Got a new filing cabinet with a lock for security
- Filed Paperwork
- Make it a habit to do weekly or monthly at the minimum to stay caught up going forward.
Lessons & tips: Have patience, dedicate a couple Saturdays to taking action, and you'll be able to get everything caught up eventually!
