How I did it: I youtubed a video by Dan Brown who has a nice tuitorial on it. I didn't get it at first and it took me a while to remember the algorithms but I did get it eventually.

First step is to solve one side.. dont worry about the position of anything else.. just solve one side.

next step  is to solve the middle, if you have done it right there would be a small T on each side. once you have finished that you fill n the rest of the sides, then finish the top. all of this can be explained in detail on that youtube video. :)

Lessons & tips: the middle square on a cube is the colour that the entire side is. so for ex of your looking at the cube and the middle square is yellow,.. that is the yellow side.

when doing the first step and solving 1 side.. use this to your advantage and dont forget that every square is specifically designed for a perticular area.. for ex if you have a one side finished, and you look at a corner piece. you see that the top is white ( lets assume you solved the white side), the side colours are green and orange.. and you look at the middle squares and you see they are red and blue.. you know that you dont have the white face solved correctly just by that cube not being in the right spot. kept htat in mind when you're solving and make sure you have the cubes on the correct side.
