India is a very hospitable country having warm people. We take a lot of pride in our country & culture, I’m glad you came to India but 2 weeks is a very little time, India is a vast country & to get a feel of it you need to travel extensively, So the next time you a here make a long stay & get the most of India. You’ll always have a friend in Sumeet you can mail me at sumeetjain00@indiatimes.com to know more about India.
How to go to India
How I did it: We took a trip through Nepal and India on a Geckos tour. It was a bit rough traveling around and you can expect to spend more time than you would like getting from one city to another rather than being in one city then another. However, the rough aspects of things in India is well worth the reward of experiencing the culture, people, history and cuisine... the absolute best food we've ever had traveling (did I mention the food?)!
Lessons & tips: Be patient. Go with the flow. Expect to have an omnipresent sore throat from the smog.
I have traveled to other countries on my own just wandering but I'm not sure I would recommend that in this case. Helpful to have some sort of tour guide explain things, take you places and make sure you eat in restaurants that won't make you sick.
