How to get a dog
"If you have a good dog, and most are, and you take care of it, it will love you forever and always."
How I did it: In this case it wasn't my dog, but my girlfriend's dogs. They are both great dogs and suprisingly less responsibility than I thought (given she does the feeding and I just love um up). There aren't many things better than coming home to a wagging tail and a smiling face genuinely happy to see you.
Lessons & tips: I would mention that having a fenced back yard is almost a must.
Resources: I didn't need any, but I urge you all that are seeking advice to look at the pound and the rescue groups. Don't let puppy mills profit off of you when you can save a dog or cat condemned to death by the neglect of our society. Besides mutts have more character, personality and better genetics.
