How to make a short film

Meh. 
"I did it for a class project -- and it could have been waaay better if I had planned more"
How I did it: I plan on doing it again in the future, but better next time -- especially since now I know how to properly use MovieMaker.
Use the buddy system -- never try to attempt this alone. You will find
it difficult if not impossible to get certain shots you may want.
1) Camera or camcorder (one you can connect directly to your computer
works best) - some of these don't come with their own lighting, so you
might want to keep that in mind when filming at night or somewhere
poorly lit
2) A video editing program - I used Windows MovieMaker, but there are better ones out there though I do not know them by name.
3) A buddy (see above)
