How to run a marathon

How I did it: patience, long training and discipline.
it was over one year of long training. build up my stamina, weekly mileage.
Also reduced by weight by 10 kgs in the process, which helped.
Lessons & tips: patience! many times during training one is tempted to over run. it caused me many leg injuries. later realized need for discipline and avoided many injuries.
investment in good shoes and time is most essential.
