effort!!
my dad’s originally from Europe… so there is a window for me.. but ugh so much effort
that’s super awesome that you’ve done it, congrats :)
How I did it: I had an option - British or Irish. I went for Irish initially because it was cheaper. I'll probably go back and do my British, but I'm hesitant because they require an interview and I'm currently living in Germany.
The idea of having multiple passports totally thrills me on a James Bond, international spy and woman of mystery level.
Lessons & tips: Just do it. It opens up so many opportunities in jobs and places you can live worldwide.
Oh yeah, be patient. It takes forever to come. I've been waiting nearly six weeks, and had to leave the country (USA) without it. I'm currently living and working in Germany.
Resources: My father. The internet. Dan McKinley, who ran all my stuff to the post office at the last minute, only for me to discover I didn't have everything completed.
