How to go on a cruise by skywriter22

"I've wanted to go on a cruise ever since I watched "the Love Boat" with my grandma when I was a kid. "

How I did it: 1. Got a job that gives me paid vacations. 

2. Booked online at the last minute (cheaper). 

3. Drove to the embarkation port which saved some money...but that was before gas prices skyrocketed. 
4. Turned off my cell phone, put on my bikini, and waved buh-bye to all of my responsibilities for a week.

Worth doing!

Cruises are generally fun for most people. Some do get sick though ( especially when the sea is rough), so keep this in mind. There are many discount cruise lines and sites. I found Carnival to be cool. Plus, you never have to pay for food and there are free non-alcoholic drinks ( if you know where to find them on the ship) as well. So, go for it!
