How I did it: Yay!!! It finally happened for me! I stayed praying, and searching and applying and it worked. I start my new job soon. It's only part time but that's a starting point.

Lessons & tips: Follow up with people after you talk to them about a job. Especially if you get their business card. Business cards are no good if they're collecting dust. Fill out at least two applications every week.

Resources: For people in the media field I recommend mediabistro.com, ed2010.com, bulldogreporter.com and networking through various social sites. Attend events that the companies you're interested in are hosting.
