How to leave flowers on the grave of someone I don't know
How I did it: Well, I live in a tiny little village in the Cotswolds and theres the prettiest little church here. Every time I walked past with the dog I wanted to go in and walk around the grounds. I'm not religious at all though, and was a bit worried about poking my nose in when I don't ever turn up there normally. All I wanted to do was look at some of the graves though; they're so old and beautiful in this place.
Anyway, I saw this and it gave me the insentive to go in. I found some cute wild growing flowers outside and had a wander round. Ended up leaving the flowers on the grave of a man who died a couple of hundred years ago. In graves next to him were the bodies of his baby son and his wife... he'd lived about 30 years without them and never re-married or anything. He must have loved them so much. It was sad, but at the same time so lovely to find that kind of unconditional love. Makes you think... :-)
